HIPPY Home Visitors

• Home Visitors are typically newcomers who are entering the work force.

• They earn a Living Wage while they receive 100 hours of training each year to prepare for their Home visits and to improve their English literacy, computer and work skills.

• These weekly visits provide our HIPPY Mothers with the encouragement to increase active play and also the rationale for the specific skills and materials they need.

• HIPPY Oakville’s Home Visitors support our HIPPY families as they develop their skills, understanding and the confidence in their own abilities.
